Why don’t the sleeve size and card size match on the label?

Sleeves need a little extra room so your cards slide in easily and aren’t squished. We make ours about 2 mm taller and wider to fit the card’s thickness. Some brands only list the card size they work with, others list the actual sleeve size — we share both so there’s no guessing.

Card sleeves are designed with a slight size margin so your cards slide in easily and stay protected without being bent or compressed.

We make our sleeves about 2 mm taller and wider than the card dimensions to account for card thickness and to ensure a smooth fit.

Some brands only list the card size they work with, others list the actual sleeve size — we share both so there’s no guessing.

Lighter colors hold on to less pigment and darker colors tend to hold on to more pigment. Hence darker colors are most often 100% opaque. For tournament ready sleeves, consider the following: black, green, blue, purple, bordeaux red and earth brown.

We aim for all colors to be 100% opaque by 2026.
