Why don’t the sleeve size and card size match on the label?

Sleeves need a little extra room so your cards slide in easily and aren’t squished. We make ours about 2 mm taller and wider to fit the card’s thickness. Some brands only list the card size they work with, others list the actual sleeve size — we share both so there’s no guessing.

TitanShield card sleeves are typically about 2 mm taller and wider than the listed card size to account for card thickness and provide a comfortable fit. We list both the card size and sleeve dimensions so you know exactly what you’re buying.

Opacity depends on pigment density. Darker colors naturally hold more pigment and are more likely to be fully opaque, which is why they’re often chosen because they’re tournament-ready. Lighter colors allow more light through. Our goal is to make all sleeve colors fully opaque by 2026.
